What is the role?   
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality first-level IT technical support as part of Aerogen's global IT support team. Based primarily at Aerogen's global headquarters, this position will provide hands-on local IT assistance while also supporting the company's commercial teams and users located across multiple regions worldwide.

This position offers broad exposure across Aerogen's IT environment, including end-user computing, service desk operations, infrastructure support, approved business applications, device deployment, and IT service improvement. The breadth of experience provides a strong foundation for career development, with opportunities to progress into multiple IT disciplines as the organisation continues to grow.

What are the key responsibilities?   
• Provide first-level onsite and remote technical support to users at Aerogen's global headquarters and Irish manufacturing locations.
• Provide remote IT support to Aerogen's globally distributed commercial teams, including onboarding, device support, connectivity troubleshooting, and day-to-day user assistance.
• Provide hands-on support for local office technology, including meeting rooms, collaboration tools, printers, peripherals, and workplace IT equipment.
• Maintain the IT support desk queue, ensuring support tickets are logged, prioritised, updated, escalated where required, and communicated through to resolution.
• Communicate regularly with users via phone, email, and collaboration tools to diagnose and resolve IT technical issues.
• Assist with IT onboarding, user account setup, equipment preparation, access requests, employee moves, and offboarding activities in line with IT and security procedures.
• Build, configure, and deploy PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals for local and remote users.
• Install and configure approved software on company devices according to specifications.
• Follow IT standards, security, and change procedures when supporting users, systems, and devices.
• Update support desk knowledge-base articles to ensure resolution details are accessible to colleagues.
• Support IT projects, service improvement initiatives, and ad hoc IT tasks as required.

What education and experience are required?  
• Recent graduate in Computer Systems, Business Information Systems (BIS), Computer Science, or a related discipline. Prior internship or academic project experience in IT support or troubleshooting is an advantage
