Senior Production and Replenishment Planner

What is the role?   
The Senior Production and Replenishment Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and compliant supply of medical products through effective production scheduling, inventory planning, and data-driven decision-making. This position is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining production and replenishment plans aligned with customer demand, regulatory requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and approved digital planning tools. The role will support the appropriate use of analytics, automation, and AI-enabled planning insights to improve forecast interpretation, scenario planning, exception management, and supply chain responsiveness, while ensuring human oversight, data integrity, and compliance with applicable procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a highly regulated environment and a proven ability to manage complex supply networks while maintaining service levels and minimizing waste. 

What are the key responsibilities?   
• Develop and maintain the production and assembly plans based on forecast, components availability, and capacity constraints.  
• Plan and manage inventory replenishment orders across multiple locations and 3PLs  
• Monitor and analyze production output, adjust schedules and plans to meet OTIF and inventory targets  
• Collaborating closely with demand planners, procurement teams, and manufacturing leads to balance supply and demand.  
• Identify and mitigate risks to production schedules, including material shortages, capacity limitations, and supplier issues.  
• Manage production schedule to optimize working capital while avoiding stockouts or overstock situations.  
• Support S&OFP processes by providing data, insights, and recommendations 
• Use approved analytics, automation, and AI-enabled planning tools to support forecast review, inventory analysis, scenario planning, and exception identification, ensuring outputs are validated before use in decision-making 
• Promote responsible AI use by maintaining data accuracy, protecting confidential information, escalating anomalies, and applying appropriate human judgement to AI-generated recommendations.  
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including ERP/MRP enhancements, process automation (BI), and lean manufacturing efforts 

What education and experience are required?  
• Level 8 degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP).  
• Min 5 years’ experience in similar role in supply chain.  
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel or planning software  
• Experience using data analytics, business intelligence, automation, or AI enabled planning tools to support supply chain decision-making is desirable.
