Country Sales Manager Brazil

What is the role?  
The Country Sales Manager for Brazil is responsible for driving Aerogen's commercial and clinical performance in the Brazilian territory. This role combines strategic planning, sales leadership, and clinical expertise to develop a strong market presence for Aerogen. The Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, especially Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory, while also managing and supporting distributor relationships. 

What are the key responsibilities?   
• Responsible for achieving budget sales revenue and gross margin targets for Aerogen in the defined territory.
• Manage and support current Aerogen distribution partners in Territory.  
• Review current distribution channels, identify new partners where applicable and find appropriate partners in new markets for development  
• Formalize business plans for Brazil, and develop with distribution partner  
• Build relationships with key decision makers in territory and work with clinical and Marketing to add KOL’s from territory.  
• Work closely with Customer Services in Galway to ensure a smooth process for placement and delivery of orders  
• Launch new products in territory in combination with Marketing  
• Assist Regulatory where applicable in gaining new market approvals in Territory 
• Support Sales Director, Latin America with relationship with key OEM partners in Territory 
• Be innovative in creating new opportunities for Aerogen products  
• Any other duties at the request of your manager 

What education and experience are required?  
• Minimum of a degree. 
• At least three years relevant experience in the medical technology sector, ideally in Respiratory products with experience of managing distribution partners in the territory.

• Ability to work within a team environment to achieve agreed company goals. 
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills. 
• A proven track record in managing distribution channels at a senior management level and delivering planned revenue targets.  
• Innovative and entrepreneurial. 
• Good written and oral Portuguese and English.  
• Demonstrate a high degree of negotiating and influencing skills. 
• Be strategically aware. 
• Comfortable with being remotely located with regard to company headquarters and frequent business travel. 
• Maintain established core business hours with additional hours and weekends as warranted by project assignment, required travel or business necessity. 
• Proficiency in use of desktop software applications, such as MS Office.
