What is the role?
The Graduate Development Engineer role entails working collaboratively with a team to design, develop, and improve aerosol technology used within nebulizers. This involves working alongside a group of engineers to identify materials and design concepts that satisfy criteria for quality, durability, and performance.
What are the key responsibilities?
• Responsible for conducting experiments and analyzing data with the aim of optimizing nebulizer performance.
• Work collaboratively with other departments such as manufacturing and design to ensure that the materials used in nebulizers meet the specific requirements.
• Actively participate in the product development life cycle from ideation through to commercial validation, specifically between early concept to design validation.
• Contribute to the design, research and development of new processes through the stage gated development process to achieve the required capacity, quality, and cost requirements.
• Participate in project planning and progress tracking.
• Assist in preparation of technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as directed by the head of function or supervisor.
What education and experience are required?
• Primary degree in Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline.
What key skills will make you great at the role?
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data.
• Methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
