What is the role?
As a Clinical Educator, you will enable safe and effective use of Aerogen technologies across the full Aerogen product portfolio through impactful education. Working closely with our sales organisation, you will partner with the Account or Territory Manager to drive the adoption and integration of Aerogen therapies within focus accounts. Through impactful clinical education and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will help clinicians build confidence and integrate Aerogen technology into everyday clinical practice. Flexible and critically minded, you will approach new challenges with curiosity, drive, and determination while delivering education programmes that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and improve patient care. You independently lead education activity across your region and play a central role in progressing accounts from initial training toward sustained clinical adoption.
A day in the life of an Aerogen Clinical Educator
As an Aerogen Clinical Educator, no two days are ever the same. One morning you might be in the Emergency Department, supporting a clinical trial alongside an Account or Territory Manager. Then by the afternoon, you’re up on the ICU floor leading a hands-on training session for doctors and nurses, or hosting an interactive study day for specialist teams. Every interaction is about more than demonstrating a device — it’s about building confidence, sharing knowledge, and ensuring Aerogen technology is used safely and effectively to transform patient care.
Behind the scenes, you will partner with both sales and clinical teams to design training that truly fits the needs of each hospital. You are constantly planning ahead, listening to feedback, and developing your own expertise — because education is never one-way. What makes this role unique is its blend of clinical expertise and customer connection. Clinical Educators don’t just teach; they empower. By enabling clinicians feel confident in practice, you play a direct role in safer procedures and better outcomes for patients. In short, it’s a fast-paced, people-focused, and deeply rewarding career. You’ll work side by side with multidisciplinary teams, adapt to dynamic clinical environments, and keep learning every single day — while helping others do the same.
What are the key responsibilities?
• Deliver impactful clinical education and practical training to healthcare professionals to drive the adoption and effective clinical use of Aerogen technologies.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand clinical needs within accounts and plan education programmes that support therapy implementation, integration, and expansion.
• Provide ongoing education through product validations, therapy implementations, segment expansion initiatives, physician roundtables, and other clinical engagement activities.
• Deliver Continuing Education programmes and structured training sessions to healthcare professionals across the assigned region.
• Champion best practice within hospitals by delivering product in-servicing and developing clinical “super users” who can sustain knowledge and support peers within their departments.
• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), in partnership with Medical Affairs and Marketing teams, to support educational activities and clinical engagement initiatives.
• Facilitate the successful implementation of Aerogen technologies within hospital departments by providing education and guidance during therapy introduction and practice integration.
• Strengthen the clinical capability of the commercial team to ensure strong understanding of Aerogen technologies and their clinical application.
• Gather clinical insights and feedback from healthcare professionals to inform internal stakeholders and support continuous improvement.
• Consistently demonstrate behaviours aligned with Aerogen’s culture, values, and commitment to improving patient care.
What education and experience are required?
• A clinical background as a Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, or similar healthcare professional is preferred.
• Experience working in acute care environments such as Intensive Care, Emergency Departments, Respiratory Care, or other relevant hospital settings is highly valued.
• Experience delivering clinical education, training, or professional learning within healthcare environments is advantageous.
• Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience may be beneficial but is not essential.
• Current professional clinical registration or licence where applicable.
What key skills will make you great at the role?
• You enjoy working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating with colleagues across clinical and commercial teams.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals.
• You understand how adults learn and adapt your teaching style to suit different audiences and clinical environments.
• You are confident working in fast-paced healthcare settings and are able to adapt your approach to meet the needs of clinicians.
• Your clinical background ideally includes experience in ICU, Respiratory Care, or Emergency Department environments.
• You are comfortable managing a regional territory and travelling to hospitals to deliver education programmes.
• You are confident working independently from a home-based environment while managing your responsibilities.
