Regional Marketing Manager, Southern Europe

What is the role? 
The Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and driving Aerogen brand awareness strategy and generating leads that lead to broad adoption and utilisation of Aerogen technology within Southern Europe Cluster. This individual will report to the Associate Marketing & Clinical Education Director, with a dotted line to the Head of Southern Europe & MEA. They will work in strong partnership with sales leadership, global marketing, medical affairs, global cross-functional partners and third party vendors.

What are the key responsibilities?  
Marketing Strategy: You will create, partnering with the regional leadership, an annual marketing plan that drives Aerogen towards standard of care with sustained double digit revenue growth, while maintaining margins and delivering increased market share.
Customer Communications: Develop an ongoing customer communication program to encourage better utilisation of Aerogen. Plan will factor in different media outlets, including social media, advertising, email, etc. based on tools and cadence defined in our market awareness strategy. Manage downstream campaign roll out across region and track return on investment (ROI). 
• Product / Solutions launch: You will partner with Commercial Leadership to develop execute best-in-class launches to drive maximum market penetration. You will be responsible for the downstream launch strategy in region for new product launches.
• Conference and Events Calendar: Develop and implement an events calendar with key audience / attendee information, key messaging and build out an ROI calculator. Integrated omnichannel marketing plan to support the annual calendar. 
Distributor marketing strategy: Work with commercial team to onboard distributors in accordance with Aerogen best practice. Educate on the use of Aerogen corporate branding, expectations, marketing materials and sales excellence. Ensure regular communications on in market activities and marketing updates. 
National Customer Facing Events: Full responsibility on Coordinating participation in events, event displays, and all promotion and lead generation activities. Work with 3rd party vendor for innovative stand solutions within budget to make market impact. Responsible for key event measurables, reporting success and surveys on all engagements. Post market follow up and track ROI associated with each event.
• Budget: Own and track and manage all spend in line with budget, keep within process for approvals. Monthly reporting to line manager on budget and forecasting. 
• Public Relations: Develop ideas for contributed articles and regular press releases about Aerogen. Make sure these activities are factored into broader market awareness strategy.
• KOL Strategy Support: Integrate KOL strategy with broader marketing and communications plan and showcase customer engagement activities and outputs. 
• Peer to Peer Education: Take ownership of Peer to Peer Education within market; symposiums, workshops, webinars working with Medical Affairs and commercial. Gain accreditation for key activities and look to do full launch of AeroED, Aerogen’s Education portal in market with clear measurable and ongoing management. 
• Society engagement: Responsible for working with key societies, along with medical affairs to build education programs, support events and build rapport to influence guidelines. 
• Corporate communications: Ensure Aerogen’s corporate brand guidelines are followed and adhered to within region at all times, train out distributers on the use of Aerogen logo and expectations on representing the Aerogen product and name.  

What education and experience are required?  
• Proven experience in healthcare industry marketing.
• Experience in creating a strategic work plan and executing programs to achieve specific goals
• Experience owning budgets, building and executing strategic marketing and demonstrating ROI

Preferences 
• Bachelor’s Degree (any subject) and post-graduate qualification in Business or Marketing or equivalent job experience, ideally with prior commercial experience
• Experience in medical device, respiratory therapeutic area and the acute care hospital setting desirable
• Experience in working with range of internal stakeholders locally and globally; including sales, marketing, operations, analytics and more

• Able to stay organised, operate independently with high quality and high detail orientation
• Strong proficiency in English, French, Spanish and any additional cluster language desirable.
• Must be based in region with ability to travel at least 40% of the time
