Regional People Operations Lead (EMEA & APAC)

What is the role?
As Regional People Operations Lead (EMEA & APAC) you will play a key role in delivering Aerogen’s People strategy by building scalable People Operations practices across multiple regions. You will work within the People Operations team and partner closely with People Business Partners, and Business Leaders to build the Aerogen of the future, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, and continuing to improve our positive employee experience.You will bring strong experience operating across EMEA (required) and ideally APAC, leveraging people data, and optimising people operations. Success in this role will involve strengthening global People Operations foundations, embedding robust systems and data practices, and enabling Aerogen to scale effectively across regions.
What are the key responsibilities?
People Operations
• Partner with the wider People & OD team to evolve global People Operations processes, policies, and standards, ensuring regional relevance and compliance across EMEA and APAC.
• Lead core EMEA & APAC People Operations activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee movements, offboarding, and employee experience.
• Partner closely with People Business Partners, COE’s and leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on People Operations topics and best practice.
• Autonomy to identify improvements and action, driving improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and overall employee experience leveraging our culture of ‘We Care’ and our values.
• Deliver on our global People Operations strategy.
• Contribute expertise to key projects.
• Work with stakeholders across regions to make sure our people practices are both scalable and locally relevant.
• Act as mentor to the People Operations team.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Reward & Benefits on enhancing leader, employee and candidate experiences.
People Systems & Data
• Play a key role in the implementation and ongoing optimisation of new HRIS in 2026.
• Take ownership of relevant employee data across systems, ensuring it’s accurate and compliant
• Work closely with People & OD and Finance teams to ensure clean, timely people data feeds into payroll
• Use data to tell a story, building and evolving people reporting and insights that support better decision-making
• Continuous improvement of evolving people related AI & digital tools
What education and experience are required?
• 10+ years’ experience in HR, with a strong mix of people operations and generalist experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting HR operations across multiple regions (EMEA required; APAC desirable).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise HRIS.
• Experience supporting or leading HRIS implementations or system transformations an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of international employment law, compliance, and people best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple levels and geographies.
• Strong analytical capability, with experience using data to inform decision-making.
