Regional Sales Manager, Southeast France

What is the role?  
Lead a sales team to meet revenue targets within the defined region. The Regional Sales Manager will lead the hiring, development, and management of team members to implement growth strategies and initiatives. The role is responsible for consistent, profitable sales growth that achieves Aerogen’s plan commitments by driving topline revenue growth and managing regional expenses and costs. 
The Regional Sales Manager is the fundamental link between strategy and execution within Aerogen’s sales team. Success will be demonstrated by recruiting exceptional talent, coaching and developing the team to excellence, and driving proven sales processes to profitably expand market share within the region. The role also requires the development of collaborative, results-oriented relationships with external distribution partner sales professionals, Aerogen Marketing, Education and Clinical teams, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and the broader management team. 

What are the key responsibilities?   
•  Responsible for driving the sales strategy and revenue across the assigned geography. 
•  Build and aggressively execute a plan to achieve Aerogen sales revenue and operating budget targets within the region. 
•  Leverage all provided tools to maximise sales effectiveness in the region. 
•  Develop, mentor, and manage the team by establishing and executing individual management by objectives (MBOs) aligned with corporate and management objectives, together with development plans for team members. 
•  Conduct territory field rides, cadence calls, and individual territory business reviews to ensure plan achievement. 
•  Drive, manage, and support distributor sales, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales, and sales management teams. 
•  Support Marketing and Clinical teams in launching new products, executing in accordance with global marketing guidelines and agreed objectives. 
•  Acquire and develop value-based and strategic selling skills, and develop the team in these areas. 
•  Identify, manage, and develop key executive IDN contractual relationships within the region to drive sales results. 

What education and experience are required?  
•  Bachelor's degree. 
•  At least 3 years of relevant medical device sales experience. 
•  At least 2 years of sales leadership experience.
•  Experience working with distributors is preferred. 
•  Proven track record of consistently overperforming and excelling. 
•  Excellent presentation skills. 
•  Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. 
•  Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills. 
•  Ability to maintain established core business hours, with additional hours and weekends as warranted by project assignments, required travel, or business demands. 
•  Proficiency in desktop software applications, such as Microsoft Office. 
•  Clinical background and training, such as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), is preferred.

•  Strong regional management skills and a proven ability to drive multiple opportunities across the geography. 
•  Ability to manage a complex sales process involving clinical, financial, and executive customers. 
•  Demonstrated high degree of influencing skill with peers, clinicians, economic buyers, and physicians.
