Our climb for the Clare Crusaders takes its place as number THREE as part of our 25 events for 25 years of care.
3 represents the 3,407 ft that makes up Carrauntoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland. This event was chosen to raise money for the Clare Crusaders who offer free therapy and respite to families with special needs children in the Clare region.
The team faced some challenging weather conditions with gusty winds and rain coming and going all day. However, as the clouds blew over, they had the chance to catch a glimpse of the beauty that surrounded us.
These brave climbers successfully raised €2,360 and as part of our Pledge 1% initiative, this was matched by Aerogen, bringing the total raised to €5,000. This will help cover the costs of 142 additional physio hours. We are proud to have raised and donated these funds to a very worthy charity.
