Number FOUR on our 1-25 list of activities, for our 25 years of care, is dedicated to the Children's Health Foundation Ireland.
FOUR represents the 4 hospitals that make up Children's Health Ireland - Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. In October 2023, we took part in Trick or Treat for sick children. The day was filled with ghoulish treats, a fancy dress competition and of course lots of fundraising activities! This Halloween event in our Dangan, Parkmore and Shannon locations, raised over €2,500. But it didn’t stop there…
The initial plan was that these funds would be matched through our Pledge 1% commitment, however after speaking to the team at Children's Health Foundation Ireland we decided it would be worth considering becoming an official corporate partner. Following several meetings to understand how funds would be used, John Power, agreed to raise the amount donated to a staggering €25,000. This means that we are now an official partner of the "Giggle Fund".
We are proud to be part of a wonderful initiative that brings comfort, care and a little bit of joy to sick children all over Ireland.
