We foster a culture of caring in Aerogen so let’s all do what we can to ensure that culture continues to build. Sometimes a few kind words can change someone’s day.
Number TWO is all about the importance of connecting with one another. Our Power of Two event focused on 2 parts our ‘Speed-chatting’ section, where team members and colleagues shared a little bit about themselves with a colleague they didn’t fully know followed by a talk from a Pieta House representative, Donna Burke.
While this event was important from a team building and awareness of the importance of maintaining and caring for our mental health, it was also an opportunity to support Pieta House. Pieta provides a range of services nationally to people who are experiencing thoughts of suicide, those who engage in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. All of their services are provided free of charge, and no referral is needed. Since 2006 they have seen and helped over 70,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm and established twenty centers across Ireland.
We are proud to share that the Aerogen team were able to raise €1,024. In addition to this, as part of our pledge 1% initiative, this amount will be matched, bringing the final total to €2,048.
