What is the role?   
This role supports effective Inventory Management, with a strong focus on warehousing, inventory control and accuracy by analysing data, monitoring key performance indicators, and contributing to data-driven supply chain decisions. The position supports cross-functional collaboration with various internal Stakeholders including Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Quality and Operations while also liaising with suppliers on various projects. Overall, the position aims to enhance Inventory visibility, drive process optimisation, and support the organisation in achieving operational excellence and inventory performance targets. 

What are the key responsibilities?   
• Maintains and updates Inventory Management procedures.  
• Assist with developing strong inventory process controls to main inventory accuracy and full traceability of materials.  
• Utilisation of BI Reports for data analysis and reporting.  
• Assist with Daily and monthly cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy, including participating in the annual Year End Physical inventory count.  
• Data Analysis including monitoring of inventory data and KPIs to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.  
• Assist in inventory optimisation activities, including analysis of Obsolete, slow moving non-nettable locations and reporting this at the monthly inventory forum.  
• Prepare and coordinate Inventory Management project briefs to outline activities required as part of the Supply Chain projects to introduce more efficiencies in the inventory management system.  
• Assist with preparation and execution of CAPEX projects.  
• Support Document Change Requests for the Inventory management team including processing and execution and training of associated DCR’s.  
• Contribute to the management of Non-Conformance and Corrective/Preventive Actions (NC/CAPA), coordinating with Quality Procurement, and Operations to ensure timely resolution.  
• Liaise with suppliers as part of the various projects and improvement initiatives.  
• Co-ordinate the cross-functional Inventory Forums meetings including preparing the agenda, gathering data and issuing minutes of these meeting and chairing the meeting when requested.  
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in ERP Inventory management systems (CSI) to ensure full traceability and accuracy.  
• Identify process improvement opportunities within warehousing and inventory control and support implementation initiatives.  
• Escalate supply chain risks or stock-related issues where appropriate.  
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.  
• Laise with the warehouse Supervisor in both Shannon and Parkmore on various projects. 

What education and experience are required?  
• Relevant Third Level Qualification in a related Discipline.  
• Experience using MRP / ERP systems.  
• Relevant work experience in Inventory management would be advantageous. 

What key skills will make you great at the role? 
• The ideal candidate should have prior inventory experience in a manufacturing and/or fulfilment environment and possess strong knowledge of supply chain and operational processes.  
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multi-tasking skills are necessary.
• Ability to reason and influence at all levels.  
• Data analysis and numeric skills with the ability to evaluate analyses and present data.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.  
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills.  
• Self starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.  
• Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.  
• Proficient in MS office applications, especially Excel.
