What is the role?
On the back of strong and sustained revenue growth, Aerogen are seeking a Finance & Payroll Assistant on a part time basis to support our continuously growing business. Based in Galway, Ireland this role will report to the Head of Finance working closely with the Senior Payroll Specialist and AR/AP Lead.
What are the key responsibilities?
• Support the Payroll Specialist in managing and recording payruns and payroll files
• Assist in calculating and preparing payroll accruals, e.g. vacation accruals for sharing with Finance to post to our financial accounts
• Maintain employee payroll files and confidentiality of sensitive data
• Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and promptly
• Support the implementation of data into new payroll software as needed
• Undertake general administration tasks for the Finance function around invoices, purchase orders reporting
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes by assisting with invoice generation, tracking collections, processing supplier invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies.
What education and experience are required?
• Prior experience with working in a busy office setting and managing sensitive data with discretion
• Prior Microsoft excel experience
• Payroll experience preferred but not compulsory

• Exceptional organisation and multitasking skills – ability to prioritize
• Attention to detail and ownership of accurate record keeping
• Experience with excel and outlook
• Ability to learn new Software quickly
• Possess a strong work ethic and is collaborative.
