What is the role?
The Content Education Specialist advances the global development, delivery, and optimization of Aerogen’s clinical education programs. This role combines program coordination with content development responsibilities, ensuring that educational materials are clinically accurate, engaging, and aligned with global standards.
The specialist contributes as a developing subject matter expert (SME) in Aerogen technologies and respiratory care, supporting the creation and refinement of educational content for healthcare professionals. In addition, this role facilitates the management and development of Aerogen’s global Speaker Bureau, alongside continuing education (CE) activities, documentation, and compliance processes.
Working closely with Clinical Education, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and cross-functional teams, this role ensures that healthcare professionals receive high-quality, compliant, and clinically relevant education.
What are the key responsibilities?
Content Development & Subject Matter Contribution
• Oversee the development, review, and updating of clinical education content (presentations, e-learning modules, training materials, digital assets)
• Ensure content is clinically accurate, evidence-based, and aligned with Aerogen’s scientific messaging
• Partner with SMEs, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to translate clinical data into effective educational materials
• Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of global education content
• Develop foundational subject matter expertise in Aerogen technologies and respiratory care
Speaker Bureau Management & Development
• Execute the coordination, management, and ongoing development of Aerogen’s global Speaker Bureau
• Assist in identifying, onboarding, and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical speakers
• Coordinate speaker training, content alignment, and readiness for educational programs
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure speakers are equipped with current, compliant, and high-quality materials
• Maintain speaker documentation, contracts, and compliance processes in alignment with global standards
• Track speaker activity, performance, and engagement metrics to support continuous improvement of the program
CE Program Coordination & Processing
• Lead the global coordination and execution of continuing education (CE/CRCE/CME/CPD) activities
• Manage CE documentation, accreditation requirements, and record-keeping across regions
• Coordinate submission materials for accrediting bodies (e.g., AARC and other global organizations)
• Track learner participation, evaluations, and certificate distribution
Speaker Program & Clinical Event Coordination
• Coordinate logistics for global speaker programs and clinical education events (virtual and in-person)
• Schedule activities across time zones and support communication with international faculty (KOLs, clinicians)
• Ensure alignment between Speaker Bureau activities and broader education programs
• Ensure all activities align with clinical, regulatory, and compliance standards
Clinical Education Operations
• Maintain program trackers, timelines, and documentation for global education initiatives
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support program delivery
• Prepare and distribute clinical education materials and content assets
Compliance & Quality
• Ensure all educational activities and content meet global regulatory, compliance, and clinical standards
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of CE activities, speaker engagements, and materials
• Support internal audits and quality assurance processes
Data Tracking & Reporting
• Track key metrics (attendance, engagement, completion rates, speaker activity)
• Support reporting and analysis to evaluate program and content effectiveness
• Identify opportunities to improve content, speaker performance, and delivery methods
What education and experience are required?
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Education, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare, clinical education, content development, events, or program coordination
• Exposure to clinical/medical education, CME/CE, or healthcare environments is an asset
