There are a lot of features about working in Aerogen that make it an enjoyable place to be employed. The ability to work for a company that is interested in exploring new technologies and novel approaches to medical device development means that you are constantly learning and investigating new concepts. The open opportunity to further your education or to change career paths within Aerogen, and the flexibility within the company is positive. The capacity to gain exposure to different elements of the company’s activities is also beneficial. Denise Belton

I have been with Aerogen for 16 years. As the company has grown and business needs have evolved I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of interesting and challenging roles. Each role has given me the opportunity to gain exposure to different aspects of the company’s activities and allowed me to work with many of the different functions across the business.  Aerogen is a dynamic and interesting company. This, combined with a great team environment, makes Aerogen an enjoyable place to work.

Brendan Hogan

The work within Aerogen is very interesting, varied & challenging but also extremely rewarding. There are a number of aspects I love about the company. Working at the cutting edge of technology and making a real difference to people’s lives is something that is very close to me. I value working with a very talented group of colleagues in a collaborative, fun and productive environment. I appreciate the autonomy afforded to individuals and the opportunities for advancement presented as the company continues to grow at record levels.

Serena Butler

Aerogen is a great place to work because of the people that work here. Everyone is willing to work hard to ensure the patients are getting the best product possible. I have received invaluable experience in my 5 years here and developed skills and knowledge that will help me as I continue on my career path.

John Merrigan
Design Engineer

My typical working day allows me to undertake a wide variety of tasks, from front end research and development right through to releasing and sustaining commercial products. My favourite thing about my job is using my design skills to help create innovative nebuliser devices to improve the quality of life of patients.
I would advise anyone to apply to Aerogen, it s a great place to work, everyone is enthusiastic, friendly and Galway is a very vibrant city!

David Irwin
Mechanical Design Technician/Engineer

The majority of my day is spent testing products, setting up new equipment, reviewing documents and discussing problems & solutions with the rest of the team. (Electronics, Process Development, Science, Manufacturing, Design Assurance, Marketing, Quality) My role is about 50/50 Practical hands-on work/desk work. The best thing about my job is working on different projects designing fixtures which are used for testing products, conducting trials on new machines, test reports etc. No two projects are the same – Each has a new challenge and a new team so it’s hard to get bored! The job is both interesting and rewarding.
