What is the role?   
The Graduate Manufacturing Engineer will work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams delivering on Aerogen’s core values of mindful, responsive, and expert. The role will work with new product development, process improvement and development, packaging and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced Medical Device Environment. 

What are the key responsibilities?   
• Support cross functional Engineering projects from initial concept to commercial release delivering Quality, Service and Cost improvements.  
• Support a diverse range of projects including New Product Introduction, Compliance and continuous improvement.  
• Complete product, process and material changes through Design Review process, change control and documentation updates.  
• Support complex engineering issues with cross functional teams (Manufacturing, R&D and Quality) in a product development environment.  
• Identification of process improvement opportunities to include improved quality, increased capacity/service and product cost.  
• Delivery on individual and department performance metrics (Training, Right First Time metrics)  
• Perform other assigned tasks as directed by Manufacturing Project Engineer or Head of Function. 

What education and experience are required?  
• Minimum of a primary degree (Level 8) in an Engineering or Technical Discipline.  
• 0-2 years engineering experience in the Medical Device / Regulated industries.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.  
• Very strong communication skills.  
• Meticulous attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem solving.  
• Flexibility to travel to vendor / supplier sites to support project activities.  
• Must be able to work in a dynamic environment with little supervision or daily direction.
