Business Development Executive, AerogenGO

What is the role?
Reporting to the Director of AerogenGO, the Business Development Executive (BDE) for AerogenGO is responsible for strategy development and execution, revenue performance, and penetration of the homecare market within their specified region. Through building strategic
partnerships with key homecare stakeholders in hospital and community settings, this individual will be responsible for Aerogen’s homecare revenue growth targets by building effective strategic partnership, commercial go-to-market plans, collaborating with key stakeholders, and execution.
The BDE will require strong cross-functional collaboration with the selling organization, the CAE team, the marketing team, ACE team, and Medical Affairs.
In addition to the individual contribution in the geographical area, the BDE is a strategic leader
(without direct reports) who will coach and educate the account management team on stakeholder
management, reimbursement / payments, and value proposition creation/positioning.
What are the key responsibilities?
• Responsible for achieving sales quota for AerogenGO within assigned area
• Provide a meaningful contribution in the full commercialization of AerogenGO by helping define key call points, key value proposition drivers, competitive positioning & cost justification tools
• Help gain deeper understanding of payor mix and apply learnings to our sales offense
• Determine key stakeholders and optimal process to drive patient demand generation and patient use in home setting
• Drive the integration of our commercialization plan into the Aerogen sales process
• Drive and implement the challenger selling methodology for the call points in the home care market
• Assist in our reimbursement journey for AerogenGO
• Work closely with account managers to coach and develop their confidence, competency and execution in the home segment
• Collaborate with the CAE team to drive IDN level conversations and implementations for AerogenGO
• Execute soft launch and full commercial launch
• Identify new opportunities for business growth
• Support clinical studies and real-world evidence initiatives to demonstrate product efficacy and value
• Build strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders
What education and experience are required?
• Bachelor Degree (preferred)
• 3+ years of relevant medical device sales experience
• Proven track record of consistently overperforming and excelling
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead non direct reports though influence
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in use of MS office, especially Power Point & Excel

• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, analytical business acumen, learning application and team development skills
• Demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding quota in high pressure environment
• BDE is expected to cover the entire area with frequent travel and overnight trips required (up to 50%)
• Flexibility to work in a growth segment that will require ongoing development and definition
• Cross functional teamwork and collaboration to achieve agreed company goals
• High energy, courage, command, confidence and influence to collaboratively achieve team results and coach others
