What is the role?
The AI & Digital Solutions Lead owns the business-to-solution lifecycle for Aerogen's AI, automation and digital initiatives. The role identifies and prioritises opportunities, defines business needs and expected value, shapes high-level solution concepts, and coordinates delivery through adoption and benefits realisation. Working with the AI & Automation Developer, Data & AI, IT, Quality, Cybersecurity and external partners, the Lead assesses feasibility and ensures clear ownership. The role requires sufficient technical depth to evaluate AI and automation options and contribute selectively to prototyping.

What are the key responsibilities?
• Identify, assess and prioritise AI, automation and digital opportunities aligned with Aerogen's strategy and measurable business outcomes.
• Lead discovery, process analysis, requirements definition and use-case shaping, ensuring the business problem, user need and desired outcome are clear before development begins.
• Translate business needs into prioritised requirements, success measures, acceptance criteria and adoption plans.
• Manage the AI, automation, and digital initiative pipeline, maintaining oversight of value, feasibility, scope, dependencies, risks, capacity and expected benefits.
• Develop high-level solution concepts and work with technical specialists to evaluate AI platforms, data, integrations, identity, security, privacy, validation needs and delivery complexity.
• Coordinate delivery across business stakeholders, the AI & Automation Developer, Data & AI, IT, Quality, Cybersecurity and external partners from discovery through deployment and adoption.
• Co-own the solution approach with the AI & Automation Developer, while the Developer leads detailed technical design, build, integration, testing and production support.
• Contribute selectively to agent configuration, prompt and workflow design, prototyping, testing and user support where this accelerates discovery or adoption.
• Assess the suitability and limitations of generative AI, large language models, agents, grounding and automation, including data readiness, reliability, safety, cost and human oversight.
• Coordinate business acceptance testing, validation inputs, operational readiness and controlled implementation with the relevant owners.
• Drive adoption and benefits realisation through communications, training, feedback, performance measures and continuous improvement.
• Apply Responsible AI, security, privacy, data integrity and change control requirements, escalating specialist architecture, governance and engineering decisions appropriately.

What education and experience are required?
• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Transformation, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in digital transformation, business analysis, product ownership, solution delivery, automation or technology-enabled change.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery and requirements through implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
• Demonstrated understanding of AI, automation and digital platforms, with the ability to assess use cases, shape solution options and communicate technical opportunities and limitations.
• Experience working with enterprise applications, APIs, data sources and integrations, with an understanding of identity, security, privacy and data management requirements.
• Experience managing a portfolio or pipeline of initiatives, including priorities, dependencies, risks, capacity and value.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI/Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude or comparable enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience in a regulated environment; medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications in business analysis, product or project delivery, change management, Power Platform, Azure or AI is an advantage.

What key skills will make you great at the role?
• Strong business analysis, process improvement, solution-shaping, prioritisation and delivery management skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of generative AI, large language models, agents, grounding, Microsoft Copilot and workflow automation, with the ability to assess use cases and shape solution options.
• Ability to develop high-level solution concepts and evaluate architecture options, integration requirements, data needs, security considerations, technical feasibility, and supportability with technical specialists.
• Good understanding of APIs, enterprise applications, data flows and integration patterns without requiring primary ownership of detailed engineering.
• Ability to contribute hands-on to agent configuration, prompt and workflow design, prototyping and testing.
• Practical understanding of AI evaluation, Responsible AI, privacy, security, validation, auditability and human oversight.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills across business, technical and senior leadership audiences.
• Strong change and adoption capability, with a focus on measurable outcomes and sustainable business use.
• Commercial judgement to assess value, feasibility, delivery effort, operating cost and sourcing options.
• Collaborative, adaptable and self-directed, with a commitment to clear documentation and internal capability building.
