Aerogen was proud to be recognised with two prestigious awards at the Galway Chamber Business Awards, held on Friday night with over 400 business leaders and community representatives in attendance.
The event was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and the organisations helping to shape Galway’s future. We were delighted to receive:

These awards honour organisations that demonstrate excellence in business performance while making a meaningful and lasting contribution to their communities. Being recognised in both categories is a significant milestone for Aerogen.
These awards reflect the collective efforts of the entire Aerogen team. From innovation and leadership to volunteering, fundraising, and partnership-building, it is the dedication of our people that brings our values to life and drives our impact.
Innovation with Global Impact
Winning Company of the Year recognises Aerogen’s continued growth as a world-class MedTech organisation, headquartered in Galway and supporting improved respiratory care for more than 30 million patients across 80 countries worldwide. It reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and better patient outcomes, while continuing to invest locally and globally.
Community & Social Impact
The Community & Social Impact Award highlights how deeply community care is embedded in Aerogen’s culture. Through our Pledge 1% commitment, and in partnership with employees and local organisations, Aerogen has:
- Supported over 100 charities and community organisations
- Donated €1.5 million in product and funding
- Built classrooms and security fencing to support safer education in Somalia
- Planted native trees and funded a community nursery in Terryland Forest Park
- Supported health and wellbeing partners including Galway Sick Kids, Croí, and Children’s Health Foundation
- Expanded access to education through SVP bursaries, University of Galway pathways, and refugee scholarship programmes
- Strengthened Galway’s cultural landscape through partnerships with Druid, Music for Galway, Macnas, and the Galway International Arts Festival
These initiatives are driven by care, collaboration, and a shared belief that businesses can be a powerful force for positive change.
