On Friday 8th March over 250 Aerogen employees celebrated 25 years of Aerogen at Aerolands!
Over the last 12 months we have been celebrating our 25th year of Care, by marking our anniversary with 25 events, each giving back to the communities in which we operate.
For our finale event, we took over Wildlands, in Moycullen for the day, and turned it into Aerolands! The day started out with buses arriving at all 3 of our Irish locations - Shannon, Parkmore and Dangan. The bus journeys were filled with laughs and anticipation for the day!
Upon arrival we were greeted by the sounds of booming drums and shouts of glee! Registration took place just at the entrance as we all collected our lanyards and found out what activities we would be taking part in for the day. The sun began to shine as we made our way into Aerolands ☀️
Breakfast was served in the restaurant at 10am, there was a wonderful selection of delicious pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts, juice's and hot drinks - exactly what we needed before a day of zip lining, archery, ninja walls and more!
Our CEO and Founder John Power opened the day with a few short words, commemorating the last year! John spoke about the importance of giving back to our local and global communities, he spoke about how proud he was of Aerogen and that he was thrilled to see the company pass the 500-employee mark. In fact, we had our 500th employee in attendance on the day. Holly Leech, who joined Aerogen on the 6th of March, welcome to Aerogen Holly!! 🚀
Our activities kicked-off at 11:30am! We had groups taking part in Zip n Trek, Ninja Course, Fun Walls, Archery, Net Adventure, Disc Golf and Celtic Challenge Rooms. Teams all across the organisation worked together to figure out the clues in the challenge rooms, supported each other as they make their way across the zip n trek obstacle course and cheered for each other when they got a hole in one on the Disc Golf course!
After almost 4 hours of thinking, running, climbing, throwing and solving it was time for food! Aerolands boasted a wide variety of food, which was accompanies by a signature Aerogen cocktails as well as some fabulous custom cupcakes for dessert 🍰!
We spent the remainder of the day watching performances from fire dancers, stilt walkers, clowns, acrobats, an Irish trad bad and more!
The day concluded at 6pm, with music, dancing and bonding! It was a truly wonderful day out in the fresh air and sunshine, celebrating Aerogen's 25th birthday!
