As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we encourage all staff to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.

We protect whistle blowers who raise concerns any activities in or around our supply chains.

Supplier Adherence to our Values and Ethics

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. Our supply teams work closely with our supply chain partners.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of our core values and our business procedures and policies, we provide continuous training to our staff. This is further enhanced through regular staff events and communications.

COVID-19

We understand that some workers may be more vulnerable to modern slavery during the coronavirus pandemic. Aerogen adopted government guidelines for COVID-19 secure workplaces and paid statutory sick pay where required in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus within the workplace. Our employees have been and continue to have access to our grievance procedures.

Next Steps

Following a review of the effectiveness of the steps we have taken this year to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains we intend to take further steps to combat slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2020. It was approved by the board on 18 August 2021.
