Senior Regional Marketing Specialist - Southern Europe

What is the role?
You will create and own Aerogen's brand awareness strategy and generate leads that lead to broad adoption and utilisation of Aerogen technology within the region. You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager EMEA and will work in close partnership with the regional Commercial Director and the Country Managers. You will work in strong partnership with sales leadership, global marketing, medical affairs, global cross-functional partners and third-party vendors. You will be based in the Region, preferably in France, Spain or Italy and will speak fluently English and at least one regional language.
What are the key responsibilities?
• Market Awareness Strategy: You will define customer targets in partnership with the broader commercial team. You will create a strategy with the right promotional tools, messaging, and cadence to reach prospective customers in a way that tells our story to help fuel market understanding, acceptance and adoption of the Aerogen solution.
• Customer Communications: You will develop an ongoing customer communication program to encourage better utilisation of Aerogen. Your plan will factor in different media outlets, including social media, advertising, email, etc. based on tools and cadence defined in our market awareness strategy. You will manage downstream campaign roll out across region.
• Conference and Events Calendar: You will develop and implement an events calendar with key audience / attendee information, key messaging and build out an ROI calculator. Social media plan to support the annual calendar.
• Distributor meeting and strategy: You will partner with commercial team to onboard distributors in accordance with Aerogen best practice. You will educate distributors on the use of Aerogen corporate branding, expectations, marketing materials and sales excellence updates.
• National Customer Facing Events: You will own National Customer Facing Events and drive participation in events, event displays, and all promotion and lead generation activities. You will drive innovative booth solutions with third-party providers to maximise impact while managing the regional marketing budget wisely.
• Regional Customer Facing Events: You will coordinate customer facing messaging for regional conferences and events, in partnership with the local sales reps and broader team to align on communication strategy and drive execution. You will be responsible for key event measurables, reporting success and surveys on all engagements, post market follow up and track ROI associated with each event.
• Budget: You will be accountable to track and manage all spend in line with budget, keep within process for approvals. You will report monthly to your leader on budget and forecasting.
• Public Relations: You will develop ideas for contributed articles and regular press releases about Aerogen. You will factor these activitiesed into broader market awareness strategy.
• KOL Strategy Support: You will integrate KOL strategy with broader marketing team into our communications plan and showcase customer engagement activities and outputs. contracting organisation.
• Peer to Peer Education: You will take ownership of Peer-to-Peer Education within market; symposiums, workshops, webinars working in partnership with our Medical Affairs and Commercial teams. You will gain accreditation for key activities and look to do full launch of AeroED, Aerogen’s Education portal in market with clear measurable and ongoing management.
• Society engagement: You will be responsible for working with key societies, along with medical affairs to build education programs, support events and build rapport to influence guidelines.
• Corporate communications: You will ensure Aerogen’s corporate brand guidelines are followed and adhered to within region at all times, train out distributers on the use of Aerogen logo and expectations on representing the Aerogen product and name.
What education and experience are required?
• You have 3-5 years previous work experience in a similar role in MedTech.
• You are fluent in English and in at least in one among French, Spanish and Italian.
• You have demonstrable experience in building and executing marketing and education plans: you can provide examples of plans you have built, of how you influenced stakeholders and brought them with you on the journey, identified and managed risks.
• You are used to working in cross-functional teams and you understand the importance of working together towards the same goal. You have had opportunities to lead cross-functional teams on projects.
• You are energetic, driven and self-motivated.
• You are creative, can get others excited about the impact your can have and do not lose sight of the details at the same time.
• You are an effective communicator who adjusts style, tone of voice and content to the audience.
• You are at ease using data to support your proposals as well as to analyse the impact of the actions and projects you lead.
• You are resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment which is evolving rapidly. You are good at setting priorities, in alignment with your stakeholders and in consultation with your leader, and then driving projects through to conclusion.
• You are organised, operate independently with high quality and detail orientation.
• You can share examples of how you have built effective professional relationships with people from different backgrounds.
• You are familiar with project management principles and tools and have proven experience in using those to deliver projects on time, at budget and expected quality standards.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe designer.
• We strongly believe in face-to-face interactions with our colleagues and customers, where possible. We would therefore expect that. In this role, you would travel approximately 25% of the time.
What key skills will make you great at the role?
• Experience in respiratory therapeutic area and the acute care hospital setting.
• Experience within a global manufacturing organization, including exposure to R&D/Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Medical Affairs and Operations/Manufacturing.
• Experience in working with range of internal stakeholders locally and globally; including sales, marketing, operations, analytics and more.
• CIM or marketing qualification desirable.
• Highly self-motivated with solution driven mindset.
