In addition, the MSL role plays an important one in providing insight and training support for internal stakeholders. Given Aerogen’s unique technology and strong clinical differentiation the MSL plays a particularly important role in Aerogen’s development as it moves beyond the device engineering, technical performance and equipment integration activity to one which is increasingly being recognized as having the potential to be standard of care across the critical care continuum from ICU through to homecare and long term ventilation. The MSL is expected to be able to act effectively and operate remotely including taking initiative and drive execution without daily supervision.
