Corporate Account Executive

What is the role?   
The Corporate Account Executive (CAE) is responsible for direct and indirect salesof Aerogen products in the IDN market segment to meet revenue targets within the defined territory. The CAE will be the “tip of the spear” for Aerogen’s commercial team in key corporate accounts, supporting the expanded market development in strategic IDN Health Systems. This role will be assisting in the creation & executing the delivery of a modified value proposition relevant to the role’s specific targets. In addition to the individual contribution in the territory, the CAE is a strategic leader (without direct reports) who will coach and educate the account management team on corporate account sales cycle best practices, and assist in the development of training modules for the broader sales team. The role will also require the development of collaborative and results-orientated relationships with external distribution partner sales professionals, Aerogen marketing, Educationand Clinical, OEM’s, and the broader management team.

What are the key responsibilities?   
• Responsible for individual quota and overall business performance in the IDN market segment in the assigned geography.
• Build targeting plan for expanding the Aerogen brand within the assigned customer base through both indirect and direct channels.
• Call on key executives in defined IDN accounts and develop new business relationships for Aerogen.
• Act as the lead executive in corporate accounts, collaborating with Account Management & Sales Management teams to coordinate successful network-wide implementations.
• Create strategies for direct account conversion within the territory and execute from close to implementation.
• Conduct territory field rides with Account Management team with crossover responsibility for assigned accounts.
• Coach and mentor Account Management team on successful corporate account strategies, and provide formal training as assigned by leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership and marketing team to evolve Aerogen’s IDN value proposition, including but not limited to messaging, audience expansion, clinical education, and implementation programs.

What education and experience are required?
• Bachelor Degree (preferred).
• 1-3 years of relevant medical device sales experience.
• Experience calling on healthcare executives at IDN/GPO director-level a plus.
• Proven track record of consistently overperforming and excelling.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in use of MS office, especially Power Point & Excel.
• Clinical background and training, such as RRT a plus.

• Demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding quota in high pressure environment.
• CAE is expected to cover the entire territory with frequent travel and overnight trips required (up to 60%).
• Flexibility to work in a growth segment that will require ongoing development and definition.
• Cross functional teamwork and collaboration to achieve agreed company goals.
• High energy, good sense of humor, and persuasive and effective communicator to collaboratively achieve team results and mentor talent.
• Strong pipeline management and prioritization skills with proven ability to drive multiple opportunities across geography.
• Ability to manage a complex sales process that has clinical, financial and executive customers.
• Demonstrate a high degree of influencing skills with peers, executives, clinicians, economic buyers and physicians.
