What is the role? 
The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for growing Aerogen business by delivering consultative support and product education for Aerogen customers.  This role plays a vital role in developing key education strategies and implementation of growth initiatives to increase penetration of Aerogen technology throughout the continuum of care.  A key component of this position is to integrate education throughout the sales cycle by collaborating with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to expand the use of Aerogen products.  Additionally, this role is accountable for hiring, training, and developing an independent clinical training team that supports business initiativesThis position reports to the Head of Marketing, North America, and collaborates closely with the Global Director of Clinical Education, the Commercial Sales Leadership Team, and Medical Affairs.

What are the key responsibilities? 
• Manage all clinical education programs and events at the account level in North America.
• Lead Aerogen's field-based Clinical Educators (ACEs) by overseeing the hiring, development, and training to deliver best-in-class education programs to customers on disease states and product use.Deliver field training and ongoing coaching to the clinical education team through ride-alongs.
• Support Regional Sales Teams in meeting their clinical business objectives through sales team training and product expansion in target accounts.
• Execute the educational strategy to support the NA business annual revenue drivers.
• Deliver educational tools to support commercial objectives working collaboratively with cross-functional team members to include the Global Director of Clinical Education, Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs
• Build relationships with industry thought leaders and societies to develop a peer-to-peer network for driving adoption of Aerogen products and addressing inquiries for best practices, protocols and product use.
• Manage KPI tracking, education metrics, and effectively communicate results across the commercial organization.
• Provide field training and support when requested to support the Training departmentFulfill other duties as required.

What education and experience are required? 
• 5+ years’ experience in the medical device industry or a related clinical field
• 3+ years' experience leading a team with direct reports
• RT or RN license or equivalent preferred
• Outstanding analytical skills, a high degree of curiosity and the ability to engage with leaders throughout the organization
• Experience working with all levels of clinicians (i.e., MDs, Nurses, and Respiratory Therapist)
• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing strategic clinical educational programs
• Must have a high level of self-motivation and the ability to take initiative to drive business performance
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field

• Proficient in MS Office, and especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access 
• Experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce or similar) 
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
