Programme Manager - Digital Manufacturing

What is the role?  
The Digital Manufacturing role at Aerogen will play a crucial role in our ongoing digital transformation initiatives. 
As the digital manufacturing expert, you will work closely with our production, quality, and engineering teams to digitize our in-house manufacturing processes. With the support of our wider digital transformation team, the successful candidate will lead the effort to scale up our manufacturing processes using the latest digital technologies. What are the key responsibilities?  

In collaboration with the Digital Transformation site team and Manufacturing stakeholders (Quality, Engineering, Production) lead the creation and update of the digital Manufacturing strategy as part of the overarching business strategy. 
Plan digital manufacturing system strategy & roadmap to incorporate Factory 4.0 principles leading best in class practices to rethink manufacturing systems.
Gatekeeper role across Manufacturing functions (Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operation Excellence) to develop an inventory of digital opportunities and support prioritization through governance process.
Provide project management oversight to lead or support cross-functional teams in deployment of Manufacturing Digital solutions. Work with cross-functional teams on the integration between plant floor system and up/down stream systems.
Standardize the stage-gate approach for deployment of Digital solutions from concept through to Production handover and startup support. 
Drive the digital methodologies and technologies used for trend monitoring and data analytics initiatives which can be consumed during RCA investigation and design and implementation of CAPA enhancements.
Collaborate with Manufacturing stakeholders to support process improvement opportunities that lead to quantifiable efficiencies in product yield, reduced cycle time, cost avoidance, and cost reduction: all within the framework of preserving product quality.
Develop and promote the adoption of a digital toolbox for all Manufacturing functions.
Participate in Smart Factory, Connected Plant and Factory of the Future knowledge networks and Governance meetings.
Participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from initiation to ensure digital by design is a guiding principle for process design.

What education and experience are required?  
Level 8 honours qualification in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Science, Computer Science.
Minimum 8 years experience in a Manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in Medical Device / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

What key skills will make you great at the role? 
Hands-on experience using Digital Manufacturing solutions e.g., MES, OEE, SPC, ERP, etc.
Experience in the deployment of digital solutions in high-volume manufacturing.  
Proven track record of successfully applying Agile/SCRUM methodologies as a project manager. 
Excellent planning, project management and communication skills.
Technical leadership and project management experience.
Strong analytical ability with experience in process and production monitoring and metrics. 
Demonstrated experience working in large scale, multi-solution deployment programs.
Have a good understanding of IT infrastructure and system integration. 
Ability to present ideas and concepts clearly and effectively to all levels of the company.
Ability to manage risk in striving to meet objectives.
