EDI Support Analyst
This is a Chicago office based role with 2-4 days in the office.

What is the role?
This Chicago based Hybrid role will be responsible for facilitating the daily activity of setting up new trading partners (“Go-Direct” customers & GPOs/IDNs), maintaining, and troubleshooting with platform rep. if/when issues arise. They will work closely with our customer’s and 3PL(s) EDI departments, requesting EDI specs, driving the mapping process, testing, and pushing connections into production. This position would also be responsible for local break/fix and any additional task directed by the IT department out of Ireland.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Provide all technical expertise and support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and other Business-to-Business communication and software.
- Coordinate, map, and test all EDI implementations with new trading partners.
- Process and monitor all inbound and outbound documents.
- Work with trading partners to resolve any EDI operational issues to reach desired outcomes.
- Execute on and update the EDI project list to meet deadlines and reach desired business outcomes
- Act as a central point and owner of the EDI platform.
- Actively create, upload, and implement platform changes
- Coordinate with trading partners to maintain effective EDI relationships and provide support to internal departments
- Function autonomously to learn on his/her own initiative and execute objectives without day-to-day supervision
- Assist with all break/fix issues within the Chicago office and remote employees as well as any tasks requested by IT department in Ireland.

What education and experience are required?
Degree in Computer Science/IT or relevant experience
A minimum of 2+ years of actively owning and supporting an EDI business platform
