Did you know that only 5% of refugees have access to higher level education compared to 39% of non-refugees?
EU Passworld is a new project funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project creates additional education and employment pathways for refugees to be resettled through community sponsorship programmes in Ireland, Belgium and Italy.
2023 was the first year that the EU - Passworld scholarships were provided in Ireland and we are delighted to be supporting ‘Pobal Na Gaillimhe’ to reach their fundraising target. We will also welcome two of the students into Aerogen as part of our internship programme in 2024.
