San Francisco General Hospital is a very busy Level 1 Trauma center. Transitioning from pneumatic powered nebulizers to the Aerogen system has been a great move for our severely ill patients…. We are now using the Aerogen system on our HFOV patients with much success. The system is very user friendly and any chances of contaminating the medication are decreased significantly.
