Aerogen Finalist in Engineers Excellence Awards

The Aeroneb Solo is up against other Irish engineering projects such as the Mizen Head footbridge and the M50 widening scheme. The Aeroneb Solo is the only medical device technology to make it to the final.
The Aeroneb Solo incorporates the unique OnQ vibrating mesh technology which allows drugs to be nebulised into a fine droplet mist that can be absorbed through the lungs while maintaining drug integrity. This forms the core of Aerogen’s nebulising technology which is protected by over 40 patents.Aerogen’s technology is used in the world’s most critical intensive care units, delivering drugs to the lungs of the most vulnerable patients, from immuno‐compromised adult patients to delicate pre‐term infants.
UPDATE:
The Aeroneb Solo is the only medical device technology to make it to the final, and was up against building and construction projects from accross Ireland.
The winner was decided by a public vote and Cork's Mizen Head footbridge pipped Aerogen to the post, winning the Excellence Award. Aerogen is delighted to be nominated with such a high calibre of engineering projects.
