Aerogen’s dynamic Research and Development team is passionate in their development of drug delivery solutions based on the patented OnQ™ technology. Innovation and creativity are at the core of every product development programme, while Aerogen’s structured 5 stage gate development process ensures that projects are executed in a methodical, timely and cost effective manner.
Stage 1 - Proposal: A project proposal is developed to define the product concept and its market opportunity.
Stage 2 - Definition and Feasibility: This stage defines the product to show that there is a reasonably validated business opportunity, technical pathway, manufacturing process, and regulatory pathway
Stage 3 - Development (Pre-clinical Development/Design Verification Testing): The product is defined in this stage and it is determined if it meets both the system level and sub-system level requirements.
Stage 4 - Manufacturing release: The final design is implemented and the product and process of manufacture is fully validated.
Stage 5 - Commercialisation and Market Release: The product is launched and production is scaled up according to sales forecast and actual sales.
