Out of an Irish based med tech industry of over 200 companies and with over 25 applications, and 6 finalists, Aerogen won Silver overall. Aerogen are the only indigenous company that qualified as a finalist and we were up against the cream of the cream in the Irish Medical Technology industry.
Aerogen is delighted to announce that the Aeroneb Solo has been shortlisted for an Engineers Ireland Excellence Award. The Aeroneb Solo is up against stiff competition and needs your vote.
Aerogen has been awarded the internationally prestigious Ruban d’Honneur award in the European Business Awards. The award is in recognition of Aerogen’s global growth strategy, which has seen the business grow by 30% year on year. This is the first Irish medical devices company to receive the Ruban d’Honneur.
Aerogen has been honoured at the 15th Annual Allergy and Asthma day in Capitol Hill, Washington with an Innovation Technology Award which recognizes life-saving breakthroughs in allergy and asthma care. The award was presented to Aerogen by Allergy & Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics (AANMA), a leading national non-profit patient education organization, in recognition the Aeroneb Go home care nebuliser.
Aerogen was the recipient of the Gold Award for Skills and Knowledge from the Irish Medical Device Association in 2009. This was in recognition of the work completed on the Aerogen OnQ technology.
CEO of Aerogen, John Power is the Connaught recipient of the Ulsterbank Business Achievers Award for International Business in 2009. This is in recognition of the global reach of Aerogen's products, distributing to over 50 countries worldwide. Aerogen has created a network of key distributors in different countries to enable the distribution of Aerogen products throughout the world.
John Power, CEO Aerogen was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award is a global recognition programme, to identify, acclaim and support entrepreneurs. The programme is currently run in over 50 countries, across six continents. The Irish programme, now in its 13th year, has been identified as one of the strongest worldwide.
